Easter Bunny To Make Special Appearance In Historic Ellicott City

The Yuppy Puppy Pet Boutique located in Historic Ellicott City will be hosting the Easter Bunny on Saturday, April 11, 2009 from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. rain or shine.

The Easter Bunny will be greeting visitors in front of The Yuppy Puppy Pet Boutique located in the center of town at 8104 Main Street. There will be a white tent set up.

The Easter Bunny will be handing out complimentary treats for children and pets. Parents of both children and pets are encouraged to bring their camera for complimentary photo sittings with the Easter Bunny.

Yuppy Puppy Pet Boutique store owner Holly Hoenes says "Easter is one of my favorite holidays and I am thrilled that the Easter Bunny will be spreading springtime cheer in the Historic District. The town has so much to offer with its specialty shops, restaurants and historical sites. Many of the town's stores are pet friendly and with several shops catering to the youngsters, including a toy store, children's boutiques and new candy store, just to mention a few; Ellicott City is the perfect destination for a fun-filled afternoon."

In support the Maryland SPCA's upcoming fundraising event, March for the Animals, the Yuppy Puppy Pet Boutique will donate 10% of sales this day to the organization.
